Dairy Feed

We are continuing with Total Replacement technology which is proven to: Improve fertility,improve udder health with a 30% reduction in cell counts, increase milk yields, improve hoof health, Sel-Plex and Bioplex in our dairy compounds offer a return on investment of 7:1.  Another new piece of technology is Optigen from Alltech which is a slow release, rumen-degradable protein source. 

Cattle Feed

Our cattle feed is simple with the use of quality raw materials from distillers to sugar beet pulp including cereals, our cattle feeds are the back bone of our business.  We have fantastic blends that our customers order time and time again.  However if there is a feed you require that we don't have please feel free to ask and we can formulate an on farm special mix just for you.

Sheep Feed

Sel-Plex has been added to our Sheep Diets with the following benefits:

Better quality colostrum, Enhanced lamb vigour, Faster suckling, Better growth rates, Less ill thrift and Reduced white muscle disease.

Farm Yard Range

Our Farm Yard Range of Feeds includes Layers, Pig and Horse Feed.  Winskill layers pellets are ideal as a single ration for traditionally fed layer flocks.  Feed from 16/17 weeks of age to provide all the essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals and trace elements for good health, egg size, yolk colour and productivity.Mixed corn is also available.  We also make a Pig Grower, Sow & Weaner Nut, Horse Cool Mix & Nuts.

Dry Cow Programme

New and exclusive to JPA is the Cow Centric Programme: Dry cows are automatically fed individually.  Overall this enables cows which calve easier, less metabolic disease, come into milk faster and return to heat faster.....please ring Andrew to discuss this further. 

Life-Gard Colostrum Paste

Life-Gard is the new generation rapid use colostrum paste in a very easy to use form, incorporating the newest technology and ingredients.  Available in 60ml syringes to do 15 lambsor 4 calves.  Contains 20% pure spray first dried colostrums, high available energy which is absorbed and utilised quickly, high vitamin E status for cellular and carbohydrate metabolism as well as antioxidant effects.

Lucerne

Available in our sweetstart calf coarse mixture or can be added to any other feed as required. Lucerne is chopped to provide the scratch factor and structure to the diet without reducing its nutrient density. Lucerne is the natural buffer for the cow's rumen. Please contact us for further information.
